If you're gearing up for a big shindig and scratching your head over tablecloth sizes, fear not! Follow our linen sizing guide to make sure you have the best tablecloth rental right here in Connecticut!

 Let's dive right in.

1. Start with Measurements

Before you even think about picking out tablecloths, grab a measuring tape and jot down the dimensions of your tables. Measure the length, width, and height. This will give you a clear picture of what size tablecloth you need. If you a renting tables from us, our dimensions are listed on each item but be sure to tell your Party Rental Representative what you have in mind!

2. Consider the Drop

What's the drop, you ask? It's the amount of fabric that hangs over the edge of the table. For a formal event, aim for a drop of 12 to 15 inches. For a more casual vibe, 6 to 8 inches will do the trick.

3. Round Tables

For round tables, finding the right size tablecloth is a piece of cake. Simply measure the diameter of the table and add twice the desired drop to get the ideal size. For example, if your round table has a diameter of 60 inches and you want a 12-inch drop, you'll need a 84-inch round tablecloth.

4. Rectangular Tables

Rectangular tables are a tad trickier, but fear not! Measure the length and width of your table, then add twice the desired drop to each dimension. For instance, if your rectangular table is 72 inches long, 30 inches wide, and you want a 15-inch drop, you'll need a tablecloth that's at least 102 inches long and 60 inches wide.

5. Square Tables

Square tables follow the same principle as rectangular ones. Measure the length of one side, add twice the desired drop, and voila! You've got your perfect tablecloth size.

6. Don't Forget the Overhang

When draping your tablecloth, make sure it hangs evenly on all sides. Nobody likes a wonky tablecloth!
